Pre & Post Facial Care Instructions
Before Your Facial:
Avoid wearing heavy makeup or using exfoliating products 24 hours before your appointment.
(there is an additional fee for make-up removal)Discontinue use of Retin-A, AHAs, BHAs, or exfoliating scrubs for at least 3–5 days before treatment.
Avoid sun exposure, tanning, or waxing for 48 hours prior.
Let your esthetician know about any new medications, health changes, or skin sensitivities.
Drink plenty of water and come relaxed — this is your time to reset and rejuvenate.
After Your Facial:
Avoid touching your face or applying heavy makeup for at least 12 hours.
Skip saunas, steam rooms, hot showers, or workouts for 24 hours.
Avoid direct sun exposure and always use broad-spectrum SPF 30+.
Wait at least 3–5 days before resuming exfoliating products or retinoids.
Keep your skin hydrated — use a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and SPF daily.
Mild redness or sensitivity may occur and should subside within 24 hours.
🌿 Additional Notes for Chemical Peels
Before a Chemical Peel:
Stop using retinoids, acids (AHA/BHA), or exfoliating agents at least 4 weeks prior.
Avoid waxing, laser treatments, or strong sun exposure 4 weeks before treatment.
Inform your esthetician if you are using Accutane, antibiotics, or any prescription topical products.
After a Chemical Peel:
Do not pick, rub, or peel flaking skin — allow natural shedding.
Avoid saunas, pools, steam, or intense exercise for at least 72 hours.
Use only gentle cleansers and hydrating products recommended by your esthetician.
Apply SPF 30+ daily, and avoid direct sunlight for at least one week.
Do not use active skincare (vitamin C, acids, or retinoids) until your esthetician advises.
Healing may last 3–7 days; keep your skin moisturized and protected.
